What affects the final price?

Square-metre rates are a useful starting point, but no two components arrive in exactly the same condition. A simple new flat panel requires a different process from assembled furniture with mouldings, previous coatings, hardware and detailed masking.

Preparation and substrate

Raw MDF, veneered board, timber, metal and previously painted components each require different preparation. Edges and routed details can need additional sealing and sanding to obtain a consistent finish.

Colour and sheen

Dark, bright, high-gloss and metallic colours generally require more controlled preparation and application than pale low-sheen finishes. Colour changes can also affect setup and cleaning time.

Quantity and handling

Repeat components can be processed efficiently as a batch. Large assembled units, fragile items and pieces requiring two-person handling need additional workshop and transport planning.

Collection, delivery and installation

Transport is quoted separately where required. On-site spraying is assessed around access, protection, ventilation, working hours and the surrounding occupied environment.
